November Monthly Meeting and Election of Officers
The club will hold it's monthly meeting at the workshop on November 18th from 7PM to 9PM. New officers will be elected at this time. Also plans for the December 16th Christmas Party will be made. Attend the meeting and get involved with the club activities.
Club's First Annual Picnic Was A Great Success
Our 1st annual picnic was a great success and the auction was a lot of fun, great items were auctioned off. There was enough good food, drink and great desserts for everyone. The weather was so beautiful that the hamburgers, hotdogs and baked beans were cooked outside. Tables were also setup outside so people could eat and enjoy the weather. I would like to thank everyone for bringing a covered dish and for helping setup the area. A special thanks goes out to Peter Piziak for doing all the cooking of the hamburgers, hotdogs, and baked beans and for John & Anne Piziak for all there efforts in making the picnic such a success. There will be another picnic next fall (maybe even this spring) so if you happened to miss this fun event keep looking for details for information on the next picnic. Extended Workshop Hours
The workshop will be open on the SECOND and FOURTH Saturday of the month from 9am to 3:30pm. This will allow more access to the workshop. If you don't like getting up in the morning but you still want to come to the workshop, now you can do that by joining us on Saturday afternoons.
New Cabbing Machines & Refurbished Faceting Machines
The club has two new cabbing machines and has refurbished all the faceting machines so anyone wanting to learn that wonderful skill, join Emilio, and lets get the re-newed laps broke in properly and have great fun doing it!!
